Meet Jason and Caylee
Jason and Caylee at the Four Peaks Dental Open Night
Hello Geraldine!
We’re Caylee and Jason, and we are truly honored to introduce ourselves as the new faces at Four Peaks Dental. Moving to Geraldine has been a big step for us, and we already feel so welcomed—thank you for making us feel right at home! We wanted to take a moment to share a bit about our journey and express how excited we are to become a part of this wonderful community.
Our journey together began at Otago University, where we both studied Dentistry. But what truly brought us together was our love for food (we’re always on the hunt for the best local eats), our shared passion for exploring the great outdoors, and keeping each other accountable through our studies. Fast forward to today, and here we are—partners in both life and dentistry, ready to embark on this new adventure with you all.
When we're not in the clinic, you'll find us out enjoying nature or trying new foods. Jason, a former New Zealand amateur golf player, has been attempting to pass on his skills to Caylee—with mixed results so far, but plenty of laughs along the way. We love returning home to enjoy a well-earned barbecue after a long hike, and we can’t wait to discover all the hidden gems Geraldine has to offer.
Professionally, Jason gained valuable experience working as a Maxillofacial Surgery House Officer at Christchurch Hospital, handling a variety of surgical and emergency cases. Caylee, on the other hand, started her career in rural Wairarapa, focusing on functional restorative and rehabilitative dentistry, with a keen interest in cosmetic care. Eventually, Jason moved to Wairarapa to join Caylee, where we both deepened our passion for rehabilitative dentistry and comprehensive patient care.
Our mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and modern dental care to our local rural communities. We believe that everyone deserves access to excellent healthcare, no matter where they live, and we are passionate about making that a reality. By combining advanced dental techniques with a warm and professional approach, we aim to create a comfortable and trusted environment where every patient feels valued and cared for.
To ensure we bring the highest level of care to our patients, we have completed extensive training, including a Mini-Residency in Prosthodontics, a Master Clinician Certificate in Implant Dentistry, and we are currently progressing through a Diploma in Orthodontics and a Surgical Full-Arch Programme. This means we do quite a bit of traveling for training—but of course, we always make time to explore the world around us. That said, nothing quite compares to the breathtaking natural beauty of New Zealand, and we can’t wait to experience more of what Geraldine has to offer.
This year marks the beginning of a fresh new chapter for us—settling into the heart of South Island, right here in Geraldine! We are honored to be collaborating with Dr. Kenny Kim, who has been dedicated to serving this community for the past 10 years. Over the last few years, we’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Dr. Kenny and Dr. Jeanette, sharing ideas and providing the best possible care for our patients. We’ve developed a strong friendship with both Kenny and Jeanette, which makes this transition feel like a natural passing of the baton in continuing the care they have so thoughtfully built. We are very excited to continue this close collaboration at Four Peaks Dental over the next few years.
We are excited to meet you all, share stories, and be a part of the fabric of this incredible town. If you see us around, please don’t hesitate to say hello—we’d love to get to know you!
Looking forward to this journey together,
Caylee & Jason
