Same Day Crowns
What Are Same-Day Crowns?
A crown is a custom-made cap that fits over a damaged or decayed tooth, restoring its shape, strength, and aesthetics. Traditionally, getting a crown required multiple appointments. However, with our in-house CEREC system, we design, fabricate, and place your crown all in one day.
Our Advanced Technology
We have integrated the German-engineered CEREC system into our practice, featuring the Primescan intraoral scanner and the MC X milling unit. The Primescan captures precise digital impressions, eliminating the need for traditional moulds and enhancing patient comfort. The MC X milling unit then crafts your custom ceramic crown on-site with exceptional accuracy.
Benefits of Same-Day Crowns
Time-Saving: Complete the entire procedure in a single visit, reducing the need for multiple appointments.
Comfort: Digital impressions mean no more messy moulds, ensuring a more comfortable experience.
Precision: Advanced scanning and milling technology provide a precise fit for optimal function and appearance.
Durability: High-quality ceramic materials offer strength and longevity, closely mimicking natural tooth enamel.
The Procedure
Digital Scanning: We use the Primescan scanner to take a detailed digital impression of your tooth.
Design: Using CAD software, we design your custom crown based on the digital scan.
Milling: The MC X milling unit fabricates your crown from a ceramic block right in our office.
Placement: We fit and adjust the crown for comfort and bite, then securely bond it to your tooth.

When do I need a crown?
A dental crown is a custom-made cap that covers a damaged or weakened tooth to restore its strength, function, and appearance. Crowns are typically made from materials such as porcelain, ceramic, or metal alloys, ensuring durability and a natural look. They are designed to fit snugly over the entire tooth, providing protection and enhancing its shape, size, and color. Crowns not only improve aesthetics but also reinforce teeth that may be at risk of further damage or decay.
You may need a dental crown if your tooth is severely decayed, fractured, or weakened due to a large filling or root canal treatment. Crowns are also used to restore worn-down teeth, improve bite function, and enhance the appearance of misshapen or discolored teeth. A crown helps preserve the remaining tooth structure, preventing further deterioration and the need for extraction. By protecting the tooth and restoring its function, a crown allows you to chew and speak comfortably while maintaining a healthy, natural-looking smile.
Dental Bridge
A dental bridge is a fixed prosthetic solution used to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring an artificial tooth between two crowns placed over the neighboring natural teeth. The neighboring teeth, known as abutment teeth, provide support for the bridge, which is securely bonded in place. Unlike removable dentures, a dental bridge remains fixed in the mouth, offering a stable and natural-looking replacement that restores both function and aesthetics. Bridges help maintain facial structure, prevent surrounding teeth from shifting, and ensure a balanced bite, contributing to long-term oral health.
You may need a dental bridge if you have missing teeth that affect your ability to chew, speak, or smile with confidence. Gaps left by missing teeth can cause neighboring teeth to shift, leading to bite problems, jaw discomfort, and an increased risk of decay and gum disease. A bridge provides a permanent, hassle-free solution that restores function and improves overall dental health, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile naturally without worrying about gaps or instability.
Some dental bridges can also be made on the same-day with our technology!
